Doctor Lucien Blake is back, but Ballarat is no longer the safe haven he has come to call home. Matthew Lawson has been sent to Melbourne to face disciplinary charges, charges Blake is quite sure are his fault. A new Chief Superintendent is on the way, a man who will not be won over by the Doctor’s strange but effective methods as Police Surgeon. Blake will be forced to try and re-calibrate on a weekly basis with this man, but the new Super will not be swayed from his ultimate goal… the end of Blake’s official involvement with the Ballarat Police Department.

I love this series, and hope there's a season 4 coming. The acting, time and place are wonderful. My only complaint is the limited number of episodes each season. Ten would be better.
Dr Blake series 3
Love this Australian mystery drama. It has everything great stories, history of the era and a great cast. I enjoyed all the previous series and have loved watching this one. I would love another series in the future.
