J.J. Abrams, the creator of Lost and Alias, teams up with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (Mission: Impossible 3, Transformers) to create this highly anticipated drama series. Featuring Australian newcomer Anna Torv, Josh Jackson, John Noble and Lance Reddick, the first electrifying season of Fringe follows an unlikely trio who uncover a deadly mystery that may be part of a larger and more disturbing pattern that lives somewhere between science fiction and reality. As the season begins, FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham (Torv) is called in to investigate a mysterious outbreak that nearly kills her partner. The only person with any answers is an institutionalized scientist, Dr. Walter Bishop (Noble) who can only be released under the care of his estranged son (Jackson). Together, the three discover that the answer to this mystery is only a small piece of a much larger, more shocking truth. Find the patterns . . . right here, on iTunes!

This is by far one of the more interesting shows on TV. This season is excellent - it keeps you guessing as to where the show is headed. The characters are interesting and the story lines fascinating...... A must see series. Looking forward to season 2.

I'm not a huge fan of JJ Abrahms - while LOast was great for S1 & S2, it lost the 'plot' after that & Alias was ok - but Sydney Bristow is no Jack Bauer - but both shows suffer from the same fate - overused ideas, repetitive and increasingly unbelievable storylines -we can only suspend disbelief to a certain extent right? So it was with reservations that I downloaded the trailer to FRINGE & it was exactly as expected - slick, well made etc .. but ultimately generic. It's similar to the X-Files but not as goundbreaking - watch it to wile away a Sunday afternoon but don't expect too much.

Impressed so far!

I purchased the first few episodes of fringe, from start to finish of every episode has been beautiful.. Deep characters, deep plot. 9/10 Rating for sure.
