One of the best shows I've seen for a long time. Kevin Spacey is brilliant as a scorned politician extracting his own inimicable style of revenge.
Spacey's back in winning form
Kevin Spacey has fallen off the radar in recent years, not giving us memorable roles such as him in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects... until now. House of Cards is classic Spacey, its him on the top off his game and as enthralling as ever. Highly recommended to lovers of political dramas such as The West Wing and Boss, as well as general lovers of Spacey's movies and those who just love a good show to watch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
One of the best series you will watch all year
Meet the deliciously diabolical, underhanded, manipulating and scheming side of the hill!
If you love a great political drama and juicy rich plot lines you should seriously have a look!
I saw this series in the states and it is one of THE most wonderfully written and beautifully layered story lines. It is a pleasure to watch and it is the type of show that makes you reel after each episode and wonder how everything is going to pan out, And who is next to go down?
Spacey's portrayal of Underwood is wonderfully Machiavellian and fits so well with the rich throws of power and influence that go on behind the scenes of the political mechanisms of our time.
Robin Wright Penn is smoking hot and you will continue to wonder for some time how see feels about Francis' exploits and what she is really after.
Honestly one of the best political dramas I have seen in a couple of years. It almost feels like the love child of The West Wing and Dexter.
