Ultimate Spider-Man

Spider-Man is invited by Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. to join his training program where he will hone his abilities and become the ultimate superhero.

While Harry recovers in hospital, Spider-Man learns from Nick Fury that he will be working with four other superheroes in training - White Tiger, Iron Fist, Power Man and Nova.

When the other superheroes are enrolled in Midtown High, Peter struggles to work with them. After their first training session together, the heroes try to impress Nick Fury and attempt to capture Doctor Doom in Latveria.

Peter is becoming frustrated that he has to hide his identity from Harry, who in turn is sick of being ignored by Peter. Meanwhile, the trainees are tasked with defeating Venom, a villain created by Dr Octopus.

When Spider-Man receives a state-or-the-art suit from Iron Man, he foolishly tries to pursue the villain `Living Laser' by himself, compromising his and his idol's safety.

Task Master goes undercover as a gym teacher in Midtown High and creates an obstacle course specifically designed to draw out Spider-Man, and discover his true identity.
