Description

Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) stars as the title character in this film noir–ish series. Veronica used to be one of the popular girls, walking the halls of Neptune High with the rest of the "beautiful people." But it all came crashing down when her best friend, Lilly, was murdered. Veronica's father, Keith (Just Shoot Me's Enrico Colantoni), then sheriff, was removed from office for naming Lilly's rich father as the lead suspect, and Veronica was ostracized by her friends, including her boyfriend, Duncan Kane (Teddy Dunn) — Lilly's brother. Veronica must negotiate high school like any average teenage girl and she bravely maneuvers through classes, joined by fellow outcast Wallace Fennel (Percy Daggs III). At night, Veronica assists her father's private investigator business, all the while searching for evidence to clear her father's name and regain her status at school — but what she finds may tear the town of Neptune apart. Jason Dohring and Francis Capra also star.

Customer Reviews

Simply the best in teen television writing!

I can not speak highly enough of Veronica Mars. As an adult I find most television written for teenagers to be dull, silly or dubious in its message, but VM is nothing short of brilliant. The writing is witty, sharp and engaging and the actors young and old are all superb.

Give VM a try. I dare you!

It is quite rare when you find a show that has humour, heart, mystery and a season long plot where just enough is revealed each episode to keep one satisfied.

Best show ever

My favorite tv show with great acting, fresh and snappy dialogue, excellent writing and a likable cast makes for great viewing
