Not to be confused with the Stone Roses/Primal Scream bassist of the same name, Heroes of Today is the debut album from French quintet Mani. Fronted by Mani Hoffman, best-known as the voice behind the Supermen Lovers' 2001 hit "Starlight," its 13 tracks evoke the soul-rock of Maroon 5, the disco-funk of Jamiroquai, and the Auto-Tuned synth pop of Taio Cruz, and includes the lead single "Bang Bang." ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
