Description
The official app of the city bikes of Velo Antwerp.
To travel smoothly through the city, rent a shared bike.
Become a member for a year or sign up for a day or week pass right away.
Use one of the more than 4000 shared bikes from Velo in Antwerp.
30 minutes per ride included in the subscription cost.
After every ride return a bike in one of the more than 300 Velo stations.
You can borrow another bike after 5 minutes in one of the stations.
With this app you can e.g. :
Find locations of Velo stations and real-time available bikes
Calculate and store a route (speed, co2 saved, calories consumed,..)
Find info to access Velo and read how it works
Be notified when using Velo and contact Velo yourself
Report defects or problems so they can be followed up by the Velo customer service.

Geen locatievoorzieningen
App is ok, maar locatievoorzieningen werken niet voor mij, wat redelijk lastig is. Moet zelf gaan zoeken op de map waar je juist bent.

Kan je hierover een mail sturen naar info@velo-antwerpen.be met de versie van de Velo-app die je gebruikt en type van je toestel? Dan doen we navraag bij het IT-team wat de oorzaak kan zijn.
Zinloze knoppen
De 'ga naar locatie' knop werkt niet, enkel de kompas knop doet inzoomen naar waar ik ben. Ook als je permanente toegang geeft tot locatie blijft de app openen met een kaart waarop je Breda en Duisburg ziet, wat totààl irrelevant en onhandig is. De reload knop is ook te dicht bij de andere knoppen.
Recensies worden ook gecensureerd, en tussen de gepubliceerde recensies stazt flauwekul.

Normaalgezien zoomt de app wel in op je locatie. Dit doet de app enkel niet als je geen toestemming geeft je locatie te gebruiken. Stuur even een mail naar info@velo-antwerpen.be.
App werkt niet meer
De app werkt niet meer (crasht onmiddellijk). iPhone 13 Pro - iOS 17.4
UPDATE 5/4: ondertussen opgelost na iOS update

Dag Christophe, bedankt voor je melding. We ervaren geen algemene problemen rond crashes met de app. Kan je de app verwijderen en terug installeren op je smartphone? Mogelijk ging er iets mis bij de upgrade naar een nieuwe versie van de app. Helpt dit niet, neem dan contact op met de Velo klantendienst via info@velo-antwerpen.be.
