About Los Caminantes

Across their nearly three-dozen studio albums, the literal band of brothers that is grupera outfit Los Caminantes explores a range of traditional Mexican sounds, such as cumbia and mariachi. ∙ The romantic ballad “Amor Sin Palabras” helped make the band’s 1986 release, De Guanajuato…Para America!, their first No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart. ∙ By 1990, they had already racked up 13 Gold albums and were nominated for Regional Mexican Group or Duo of the Year at Premios Lo Nuestro. ∙ The tear-jerking title track of the band’s 1991 album, Dos Cartas y Una Flor, is one of their biggest hits, with more than 47 million views online. ∙ Titled after their nickname, the chart-topping La Historia…Lo Más Chulo, Chulo, Chulo was nominated for Latin Greatest Hits Album of the Year at the 2008 Latin Billboard Music Awards.
