About Los Claxons

Formed in 2004, Los Claxons is a pop combo with influences from classic and indie rock to Latin American singer/songwriters. The group released its debut album, Sin Ganga, in 2005 for the independent Movic Records label. A growing word-of-mouth reputation allowed the band to perform all over Mexico, and Los Claxons ended the year opening for superstar Diego Torres at the Monterrey Arena. Los Claxons' exposure expanded when Warner Music agreed to redistribute their debut album in 2006. A second album, En Primera, appeared in 2007 and the band's popularity kept on growing steadily. By November 2008, Los Claxons were opening venues for Maroon 5's Mexican tour. Their third self-titled album reached the top of the digital Mexican charts upon its release in May 2010. ~ Mariano Prunes
