Nude Beach serve up road trip-ready indie rock with punk edges and blue-collar roots. In 2008, the band self-released a self-titled cassette and spent 2009 busily playing around New York with bands like Used Kids, TacocaT, and Tenement. Nude Beach's self-titled LP arrived on the Mandible label in 2010 as the band embarked on its first U.S. tour. Between their in-demand live schedule in 2011, Nude Beach released a split 7" with Marvin Berry & the New Sound as well as a live cassette, and celebrated the new year with their 100th show. That spring they toured with the Men and offered their second album, II, signing with Other Music Recording Company shortly thereafter, which re-released the record that August. ~ Chrysta Cherrie
