About Terri and the T-Bones

The female lead singer of the California group Terri & the T-Bones is Terri Brinegar, nicknamed fittingly enough the Texas Tornado. Terri was exposed to music almost from birth, since her parents had a bluegrass band of their own during her childhood. There are hints of many different influences in the songs she performs, some no doubt coming from those early days. The T-Bones are her band, consisting of guitarist Daniel Gilbert, bassist Joel Woods, keyboardist Glen Gerard, and last but not least, drummer Owen Goldman. Each member can offer an impressive list of artists he has worked with over the years and a number of accomplishments. In 1999, Terri & the T-Bones released a debut album, 99 Miles, under the Juke Joint Records label. The long offering holds 16 energetic tunes, including numbers like "Mexican Moon," "Voodoo Queen," "Tendin' to Your Needs," "I'll Let You Love Me," "Right From Wrong," and "This Chain." ~ Charlotte Dillon
