About The Sons of Adam

A wiley garage band with surf roots, the Sons of Adam existed for a brief window in the mid-'60s, with bandleader, guitarist, and songwriter Randy Holden going on to be part of Blue Cheer and other members playing roles in bands of their era like Love. They only publicly released a few singles before disbanding, including two 45s for the Decca label and a 1966 rendering of the Arthur Lee-penned track "Feathered Fish." In 2022, anthology collection Saturday's Sons was released, compiling the complete recordings from the band, along with unreleased material from their earlier iterations, unheard demos, and live performances.
