William Demps is a praise & worship leader who began a musical career in the 2000s and continued recording into the next decade. Based in Seattle, Washington, Demps entered the ministry at the age of 14 and developed a musical practice at Paradise of Praise Ministry. He released an eponymous debut in 2004, but 2005 was the year when he broke through. That year he appeared on John P. Kee's The New Artist Showcase and also emerged as winner of the Gospel Music Workshop of America's Gospel Treasure Search. Two years later he released Just a Reminder, after which he toured regularly while continuing to minister at his hometown congregation. In 2013 he released a pair of singles -- "Trust in You" and "Seize the Moment" -- and 2016 saw the release of "Oh Come Emmanuel." "Beauty Out of You" followed in 2017. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
