All Jacked Up

All Jacked Up

Gretchen Wilson's landmark 2004 debut made her the first female outlaw-country artist of the era to become a mainstream star. Her second album picks up where its predecessor left off, mixing classic honky-tonk and '70s-outlaw influences with a little rock 'n' roll. She comes off like a quintessential hell-raiser on the hard-partying "All Jacked Up" and gets good and tanked on the roadhouse shuffler "One Bud Wiser", but shows her knack for ballads too on tunes like the lambent, jazzy "Good Morning Heartache".
