British electronic wizard/producer Brian Transeau (BT) and ex-Replacements axe-slinger Tommy Stinson provide the music for director Susannah Grant's romantic comedy, starring Jennifer Garner, Catch and Release. The surprisingly pastoral and sentimental score utilizes the duo's talents for atmospheric piano, soft harmonics and languid, finger-picked guitar to great effect, echoing Nancy Wilson's work on Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous and the similarly-themed Elizabethtown.
