Album Review

Featuring Spanish-language adaptations of classic '60s and '70s pop, rock, and soul songs, Las Malas Lenguas is the first collaborative album from brothers and former Radio Futura members Santiago and Luis Auséron. Released in 2006, the 12-track collection includes cover versions of the Velvet Underground's "Sunday Morning" ("Ya Es Domingo"), the Troggs' "Wild Thing" ("Me Pones Loco"), and the title track, an interpretation of Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine," alongside renditions of hits from Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, and James Brown. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
