Listening to these noise-rockers is like getting hit by a semi, kicked in the teeth, and thrown down three flights of stairs all at once. Using very distorted, ear-piercing guitar mixed with driving basslines and pounding drums, Unsane smashes everything in sight, and does it well. In a way unlike almost any other, they scream in your face fairly emotional, damaging lyrics, while breaking the musical boundaries, as well as your eardrums. Pick this up if you are a fan of violently raw noise, or if you just enjoy smashing things up every once in a while. Although they may sound like they fall into a vibe that many other bands have, they do it their own way — and it rips the walls down.
