Album Review

Chris Osgood turned out to be Charlie Pickett's most sympathetic producer, and it shows on this fine record. With help from demi-big shots like Jim Duckworth and Maureen Tucker, Pickett sounds relaxed and confident here, and friendliness practically oozes from the grooves. This should've been a much bigger record than it was, and in spite of a couple of mediocre tracks that ramble on a bit too long, it still sounds mighty good 10 years after.
