Viber makes texting fun!
I’ve been using Viber for so long and it’s just perfect for me! Not only do you use it for texting, but also a game! Viber has the first off sticker pack where there is Lol, I love you, I miss you and others! You can even choose your language! When you text for a while, they offer you more sticker packs! It updates you when there is someone who has a name day so that way you’ll never forget! It gives you games to play and challenge friends or contacts you have on the list! Not to forget that you can call mobile and video chat and now they updated the video chat to be 30+people! The best thing is to choose your photo! You change it whenever. And if your bored you can even add a nice background on the chat! So if your looking for an app to text in, my recommendation is Viber! Don’t miss out on news, sports and updates you get!
Awful registration process
I have 2 smartphones using same phone number. I constantly need to switch between the. Because of stupid polices of Viber I need to activate it every time I change between my smartphones. And to be more unusable , not every time I receive sms as I cannnot activate. I need to wait hours or even days to manage to reactivate Viber. If my friends move away this messenger I would be very happy to deleted it forewver
Viber has become totally useless.
You’ve made the app totally useless. Notifications are now somewhat coming, although it only says that there’s a new message, without message preview. Often though, you still have to open the app and wait 10-15 secs for the message to actually arrive. Then there’s issue that I get a notification about a message, but there’s no message at all and it never shows up. People send me screenshots confirming they have indeed sent a message. Then also when I am using Viber on desktop, it would send a notification to my iPhone every single time for all messages that I have already read and responded to on the desktop app. It wasn’t like this before. Needless to say how annoying this is. The worst part of it all is that you don’t admit anything officially. The last changelog didn’t mention any of these issues, you don’t have a status page so that we know what’s going on and what to expect. Viber has become so unreliable that I am gradually switching my family to iMessage. Plus, the lack of adequate support makes things even worse.
