About Banda Los Sebastianes

Formed as a Mexican Regional Music group, Banda Los Sebastianes’ music has evolved over the years to encompass other Latin genres and styles. ∙ The group was founded in 2004 by singer and songwriter Armando Paul Celis, who wanted to play banda music with a modern attitude. ∙ Banda Los Sebastianes made their recorded debut in 2004 with the self-released album Qué Yo Hago. ∙ They finally achieved a national breakthrough with 2012’s Empire album, which featured the hits “Piénsalo Bien” and “El Rock del Triste.” ∙ In 2014, the group added 17-year-old vocalist Rafael Kelly Díaz, who made his recorded debut with them on 2015’s Indeleble. ∙ Luces, Cámara Y Acción was their first album to reach Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, peaking at No. 6 in 2016. ∙ “A Través del Vaso,” the band’s biggest hit, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Songs and Mexico Popular Airplay charts in 2019.
