About Bratři Ebenové

Although the Czech Republic's Bratri Ebenové made a name for themselves as a '90s musical act, they formed in the late '70s. The band, comprised of singer, composer, and songwriter (not to mention an actor and eventual television host who would go on to helm the popular reality talent show Dancing with the Stars) Marek Eben and his brothers Krystof and David, released its first album in 1982. Over the next (near) decade, the trio released a handful of albums, but it wasn't until 1995's Tichá Domácnost that Bratri tasted big-time success. In 2008, the band was still going strong, releasing the album Chlebicky. ~ Chris True
