About Due West

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We had all moved to Nashville separately and ended up meeting each other at a house party in 2004. That was the first time we all sang together, and have been doing it ever since. A band that had inspired us all before moving here, was Diamond Rio… What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alabama, Alabama Christmas Kenny Chesney, Lucky Old Sun Tim McGraw, A Place in the Sun It’s impossible to narrow down to only three albums, but these three have definitely been played thousands of times through the years on those long drives to the next show. When an album can begin and end without one skipped song, it sets the bar. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Get That All the Time” This was our very first single release. We made a music video for it too, which has all of our families in it. It’s pretty special to us, as it captured a moment in time. Years pass so quickly sometimes, but we consider ourselves very blessed men. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Standing in “The Circle” on the stage at the Grand Ol’ Opry, for the first time was definitely a highlight for us in our music career and journey. All three of our mothers were there, too; we will never forget that night! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Becoming an Opry member and being welcomed into that family is an absolute bucket list event for us. So many of our heroes and legends have experienced that, and for us, that would be such an incredible honor that we would cherish forever.
