In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Its wild because I couldn't have been older than 3 or 4. My mom was a a radio promoter for Warner Music and she took me to my first concert. I remember being wowed by the stage and the lights. Little did I know I got to see Luther Vandross. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, The Lion King: The Gift Fred Hammond, The Essential Fred Hammond Lute, Gold Mouf I would have to say that Fred Hammond's Essentials as it helps me to set and rest my heart on God, Beyonce's Lion King because of the hope it gave me during the pandemic, and Lute's Gold Mouf because it resonated with me as a Hip-Hop artist. Macklyn)” I believe we all need those conversations in the mirror that encourage us to keep pushing, keep going, so we can keep growing. This song is my personal anthem. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've done stadium performances, a TedX talk, and toured the globe. However, my most memorable experience was performing at The Detroit Institute of Art with my live band. I believe my performance embodied the power of music - to motivate and heal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course! I'd love to collab with all of my favorites - Tracy Chapman, Common, Tierra Whack I would love to perform to a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden and win a few Grammys.
