About Plastic Bertrand
Belgium isn’t exactly known for spawning international rock stars, so when Roger Jouret, best known as Plastic Bertrand, broke through with his punky French-language hit single “Ca Plane Pour Moi” in 1977, he turned a lot of heads in the U.S. and U.K. While that proved to be his only American hit, he continued working successfully in Europe through the ‘80s, and then concentrating on production and songwriting in the ‘90s. By 2001, Bertrand had relaunched his performing career, touring the continent; the following year he released ULTRATERRESTRE, his first album of new songs in years.
