The Drunken Cholos are actually a reunion of the very first lineup of irreverent pop-punksters the Queers, featuring vocalist/guitarist Joe Queer and the rhythm section of Wimpy and Tulu. Though this lineup was no more by the time the Queers made their debut on Lookout! Records, the trio reunited to record the seven-song EP Livin' La Vida Loco, released by Hopeless in early 2001. ~ Steve Huey
