About The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs

Taking their name from the classic Iggy & the Stooges track "Search and Destroy," the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs play a blistering hybrid of old-school punk and vintage hard rock, cranking their amps up to ten while dripping with swaggering bad attitude at every chord. Founded in Los Angeles in 1995, they were discovered by garage rock maven Greg Shaw, who issued their debut EP, 1996's Heart Full of Napalm. They'd go on to share stages with many of their heroes, including Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman), Wayne Kramer (MC5), Jimmy Zero (the Dead Boys), Sylvain Sylvain (the New York Dolls), and Cherie Currie (the Runaways), among others. After breaking up following the 2006 live set Resurrection, the Cheetahs returned to duty in 2014, and in 2021 issued a new studio album, One More Drink, with an expanded edition appearing in 2023.
