About We Were Evergreen

France's We Were Evergreen are an experimental indie pop trio combining melodic folk-influenced pop with electronic instruments and eclectic rhythms. Formed in Paris in 2008, the band features Michael Liot (vocals, guitars), Fabienne Débarre (vocals, keyboards), and William Serfass (vocals, percussion, bass). The trio built up a loyal following via steady festival appearances including performances at Lovebox Festival, CMJ, SXSW, and others. They released a self-titled EP in 2008, followed by two more: Flings in 2010 and Leeway in 2013. In 2014, We Were Evergreen released their full-length debut album, Towards, on Island/Universal. ~ Matt Collar
