Limousin is located in south-central France and is France's Lake District with its natural splendor and beauty. Turenne, Collonges-la-Rouge and Curemonte have been named as France's “Most Beautiful Villages” and Saint Junien once played muse to the artist Corot. The capital of Limousin, Limoges is proud of its reputation as an award-winning ville fleuri (floral city) and plants over a quarter of a million flowers each year. Limoges is the birthplace of the famed French artist Renoir.
