1:1 is the perfect tool for performing quick measurements. 1:1 displays a grid where 1 centimeter or 1 inch equals the real-world measurement. Not only can one measure postage stamps, coins, and keys, but the sliders may be dragged to calculate an area. Plus, if 1:1 is run on an iPad, even larger objects can be measured. Imagine measuring CDs, business cards, and paper currency. If you can think of something, and if it will fit on your device, you can measure it. Perhaps nothing very heavy, however.
Not only that, but since centimeters scale up so easily to meters, imagine that the unit is not a centimeter but a meter! So, the next time someone says "my flat is about 65 square meters," use 1:1 to get a sense of the dimensions.
Also, 1:1 can be used to perform quick unit conversions. Wondering how many centimeters there are in 2 inches? Tap the unit button near the origin to switch between centimeters and inches.
Rotate your device to use 1:1 in portrait or landscape mode and better accommodate the object you wish to measure.
