||Podtacular 514: Life After Death||When our journey to #HUNTtheTRUTH began, we were introduced to war journalist Benjamin Griaud on assignment to do a profile on Master Chief Petty Officer John, Spartan 117. As he began interviewing his sources, he quickly found out one of ONI’s best kept secrets regarding John and the Spartan II program and the anomalies happening in the outer colonies. His actions and discoveries eventually lead him to get taken away to Midnight facility with help from the one who lead him down the rabbit hole of lies, FERO. Unbeknownst to Ben and listeners, FERO was in fact ONI agent Maya Sankar assigned to help bring economic revival to the outer colonies discouraging violence against the UEG. When the events started happening, she couldn’t help but fall into her role as FERO and eventually go rogue. Over the course of season two, we see Maya make sacrifices for what she eventually believed what was the right thing to do, all the way up to this series finale. With the event on Lika III starting to take full effect, the last thing Maya can think to do is broadcast out the events in real-time, hoping anyone in the outer colonies would hear the truth and be able to make preparations, but her decisions have a heavy cost. It has been our pleasure to work with Toa Freak from Halo Canon on these episodes since season one. We are also humbled by the guest appearance of Noah Eichen, Ian Torney, and Andrew Volpe, the creative minds behind Hunt the Truth. It’s hard to see such a wonderful series such as this come to a close, but it has been one epic journey and we are very grateful for their work along with the work from the voice actors and partners who made this series a reality. Keep shining!||1 11 2015||Free||View In iTunes|

||Podtacular 512: The Third Life||Maya Sankar, Mashak Maradi, Bostwick and BB have escaped the Jackal pirate ship and thanks to BB’s analysis of the data from Conrad’s Point are heading to the next anomaly site. After arriving at Lika III, they’re found by Ilsa Zane who shoots them down to the surface. Maya wakes up in the presence of Dasc Gevadim, the leader of the Triad who explains to her what happened in the crash. Dasc leads Maya to another building from where she’s recovering for the Evaluation where Dasc asks her to hell him what she knows about him. The explains how she believes what he’s teaching is made up to take advantage of desperate people and that the impending anomaly will kill them. Shortly after, Mashak is brought to her and the anomaly begins. What happens next will be revealed on the final episode of Season 2 next week. As always, Toa Freak joins us and shines brightly with us.||24 10 2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Podtacular 511: Last Light Discussion||There’s been a slew of news we’ve missed out on the best few weeks including Halo 5 going gold, the official gameplay trailer, achievement list, and much more. After we catch up on the backlog, we dive into our much delayed Halo: Last Light discussion. Last Light tells the story of a Gao Inspector, Veta Lopis sent to investigate mysterious murders in a cave system known for its therapeutic effects and mysteriously miraculous cures on the outer colony planet Gao. The murders seem to coincide with the arrival of a UNSC research, whose secret mission is to locate a Forerunner AI believed to be within the cave system. The UNSC research team is accompanied by Spartan IIs, namely the remaining members of Blue Team and Spartan III. Inspector Lopis is just trying to catch a serial killer, but before long the situation spirals out of control. Caution to those who haven’t read the book yet, this episode is filled with spoilers as we talk about many details of the book, so listen up to when we discuss the book after covering news or wait to come back to this episode later. We would like to thank Drew Freeman for joining us for the first part of the show.||19 10 2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Podtacular 510: Jackals of the Rampant Perdition||After being captured by Kig-Yar pirates, Maya, BB, Mashak and Bostwick are being dragged about getting ready to be thrown out the airlock. Maya, having previously studied Jackal behavior convinced their captors to take them to the ship mistress claiming it would be foolish to jettison valuable prisoners into space. After talking with the ship mistress, they-re given one hour to come up with 60K credits or they would be beheaded one by one. The Jackals put them into a holding cell occupied by a Sangheli who survived one of the events and witness the Master Chief there. Before the Sangheli died, he claimed these events were the first of many to come. As the first hour ran out, the Jackals take Bostwick to be cut up. Maya plugs BB into an energy conduit and manages to escape the cell and rescue Bostwick. Just before they get to their ship in the hangar, the ship mistress stops them claiming they have no value, which Maya proves wrong as she says she can fix their Slipspace drive at the cost of their freedom. Many thanks for Toa Freak shining brightly with us one again.||16 10 2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Podtacular 509: Black Cube||With the anomalies happening in the outer colonies and ONI’s brash decisions involving her mission as FERO, Maya is becoming convinced that there is almost no one she can trust anymore. With the data chip in hand, she heads to a secret hideout where she’s stashed away Mashak Maradi, hoping he can make sense of the information. Maya opens up to Bostwick and as she does, begins to realize she needs to start telling the truth, not hiding in the lies of ONI. As Mashak digs up information regarding the events, a religious cult, The Triad seems to have some widespread attention regarding them, specifically from their leader Dasc Gevadim. After impossibly receiving a call from Noah, she learns her position has been compromised and ONI is out to get her. Maya, Bostwick and Mashak all escape from her hideout, only later to be caught by Jackals. Toa Freak returns after missing last week.||12 10 2015||Free||View In iTunes|
