I love this app!))
Must have for learning
Good value, poor performance
The app is great, as well the concept: I love learning new things, and Udemy is my go-to platform for the last 3+ years.
But iPad app is flooded by all kinds of bugs:
1. Sound disappears sometimes if you stop video and then go back to it - requires app restart
2. Sometimes it’s just playback that won’t continue after pause/device sleep - requires app restart
3. The app is laggy overall & the interface is not very responsive
This is far worse than the experience iPad Udemy app was delivering a few years back.
I’m on a iPad Pro 9,7” with the latest iOS 11 release - the app should run just fine as I typically don’t run other apps at the same time and use iPad as third screen for courses solely.
Incorrect synchronization of course progress between PC and app
Lectures and tasks that are completed sometimes are shown as not even started in the app (however when checking them in browser, everything works fine).
It’s also not possible to access some lectures of the course because previous ones are erroneous displayed as not completed.
