Love it!

Such a fantastic and well-produced album by such a talented band. Definitely worth listening to over n over, those melodies really grow on you. And there's a more mature sound here compared to previous Fugitives albums

The Fugitives Have Done It Again

For years, Vancouver-native The Fugitives have been breaking new ground in the Canadian Folk scene. For years, their style and innovation has brought something new and fresh to listener's ears, and this album is no different. The band has definitely grown and matured, and Everything Will Happen shows that to its fullest. The album carries a majestic and grandiose feeling on many of its numbers, with songs like "The Wilderness Years" carrying a strong upbeat swell that'll lift you off your feet. In the second half, things start to slow down, starting with "Ring" and setting the album on a slower, simpler trend. "Dinner With Clara Haber" establishes itself as a sort of midground between the albums two halves, bringing energy back into the album before hitting a sad note with "My My". And for those who've enjoyed The Fugitives' use of spoken word in the past, don't worry: "If This Is It" is reminiscent of older Fugitives pieces like "Shiny Plastic Bags". A well rounded, sweeping epic of an album, Everything Will Happen is one of my personal favourites to come out of 2013.
