This is the one...

I had the pleasure of being part of the origins of Bedouin Soundclash during their beginnings at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Since, I have stayed a loyal and true fan, but without that biased I would still say that they are perhaps the most unique, soulful and real band of the new millenium and perhaps more. This disc is a preview of their upcoming full-length album and I must say its amazing. They were good with root fire****, they rocked Canada and the UK with Sounding a Mosaic, but with this one they are going to take the world. Jay has fine tuned his raspy wail to complete their sound and cement it as one truly deserving of the title classic, before their career has even taken off. I have one message...BUY THIS ALBUM. This music will touch your soul if you let it.

Classic Bedouin styles. I know they're not worthy of classic yet but the music is soulful, real, and beautiful

A New Beginning

Though this preview EP does not have the same catchy impact as their previous album, Bedouin Soundclash continues to mature as they find an even different, more relaxed beat. This band remains as original as ever, with a very different sound to every piece that keeps you wanting more. I predict their next full-length CD will be equally if not even more popular than the previous.

All musicians, the trio began performing classic reggae numbers at university. This continued for some time, and djembe player Brett Dunlop was added to create a fuller sound. In 2001, Bedouin...
