Another great set of songs by a great Canadian band

This is not joyous, cheerful upbeat christmas music; but it is wonderful just the same. The EP is a melancholy take on the Christmas album that is different than what they have done before. It doesn't showcase Tim Baker powerful vocals, except for a fifteen second chunk in the final minute of the last song.
The songs lack that unique, startling, duality where the feel and tempo of one of their songs seamlessly turns on a dime.
Somehow, this doesn't make their music any less and it is a 5 star EP from my second favourite Canadian right now (with the Tragically Hip first and Said the Whale following after).

Something new!

This album brings hope to the tired songs of the Christmas season. I'm so proud to be from the same province as this talented group. They should come to Labrador for a show!

This is such a sweet EP. I absolutely adore Carry Me Home, and I will listen to it all year round, not just at Christmas. New Year Song is beautiful as well. Love it, Hey Rosetta!
