Best radio drama in years

I have been listing to this series for years and now I can hear them all again.
A CBC not to be missed program. I am anti military, well I was. Listening to this has humanized the whole Afghanistan experience.
Strong stories tied in with great acting and sound FX = believable experience.
You will not be disappointed.

Afghanada Season 1

I'm not a militaristic kind of guy. But this program is amazing in the way it makes the military experience in Afghanistan very real, very human. Good acting, great writing, simple yet effective production. This is what radio can be and should be.

Afghanada: Season 1

As an avid reader of military history (it shapes so much of what and who we are, if only indirectly) I find the first hand accounts provide an essential perspective. This conflict is too new for a decent non-fiction overview, so this series attaches us to a small group. We get a grunts-eye view of what is going right and what is going wrong. Coach, Chucky and Deaner are the closest I'm ever likely to get to knowing someone outside the wire. I've heard most of these episodes twice and I'm buying them to keep.
