Great Canadian rock 'n' roll

Initially I wasn't sure what to make of the singles released from this album, since they were so different from their first album (Ravenna, also a great album). But after a few listens through this album it quickly becomes obvious how the songwriting shows tremendous growth and range. These guys are also obviously first-rate musicians, with the rhythms and arrangement of each song being distinct and refreshing compared with much of what's out there today, but still ridiculously catchy nonetheless. This is a rock solid album from a band with huge potential. The highlights for me are songs like "This is where we go it alone" which I couldn't get out of my head for weeks after seeing them play some of these songs live just before the album release, "Is it just me" which won't get out of my head now, and the duet "We're so beyond this". But this definitely isn't an album to pick single songs from - go for the whole thing, you won't regret it.

Watch Out For THE REASON

So here it is the second full-length "Things Couldn't Be Better" which is true for every song. Catchy choruses, killer bass lines, melodic guitars and more than enough rythms to blow your mind. Each song writin with percision, passion and a laid-back formula that most bands crave to have. You can't stop listening from start to finish. Perfect addition to anybodys music library!

Great CD
