Customer Reviews

I'm not gonna write to much, but really just a great album. Strummer really explores a bunch of different styles on this album. There's definitely alot of rock, but also some dub / reggae, a slight touch of electronica (on 1 or 2 of the songs) and some awesome acoustic stuff. The best songs: Coma Girl - Really just a straight up rock song. Fun and catchy. Redemption Song - Joe owns this song, he does it almost as good as Marley. SIlver And Gold - A perfect (if slightly sad) way to end Strummer's legacy. The Long Shadow - A nice little acoustic song. it's great.

Bloody Brilliant

A great mix of high energy roots rock, with big reggae bass vibes and world beats and Joe's big attitude. Well produced inspired work with lots with of interesting noises, a great mix, great players. Joes vocals sound as good as ever. Sorry that it is last we'll hear from Joe Strummer, but what a legacy. I do hope we here more from these musicians. Streetcore ROCKS OUT!

Better with every listen

If you are hanging for some old Clash, but tired of the overplayed tracks, you will LOVE this record - both fresh and vibrant. I love it more every time I listen. Play it loud!!! Makes me wish Strummer was still around alright.. It won't replace London Calling on my Top 10 DIDs but I did thnk about it.
