iTunes Review

Our Lady Peace's scorching sophomore release established the Toronto trio as an alt-rock force to be reckoned with. Building on influences like Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction, the band blasts through volcanic tracks like the deliciously angst-ridden "Superman's Dead," the lighters-in-the-air power ballad "4am," and the swaggering "Automatic Flowers." The punishing guitar squall, propulsive rhythms, and blazing vocals are all buffed to tuneful big-rock-sound greatness, making Clumsy as immediately likeable as it is fierce.

One of the greatest Albums of the 90's

This album needs to be included as one of the great rock albums of the 90's, it is a very underrated album. It is one of the only older albums that keeps me coming back for a listen, and I've been listening to this album since I was 8... from the hits Superman's Dead and Clumsy to an amazing song in 4am, capped off by Car Crash this CD is pure Our Lady Peace Artistry.

They later recruited bassist Chris Eacrett and jazz drummer Jeremy Taggart, and the quartet changed its name to Our Lady Peace in tribute...
