seaway heart ache

Good Canadian stuff! It captures the life of real people and strikes a chord for those of us left behind while a loved one is "on ship".

The Seaway

This is an amazing piece of work. The collaboration between David Francey and Mike Ford has produced some wonderful Canadian folk miusic and some very innovative sounds. They have captured the essence of the St. Lawrence Seaway from the head of the lakes at Thunder Bay all the ay to the St. Lawrence River. The recording is clean and wonderfully mastered. This is a piece of Canadiana that ranks with the best of Lightfoot or Stan Rogers. Well worth the price and a recording that you will value for many years. Their diversity gives sounds that will please any generation.

Incredible!

If you like good Canadian folk music that touches on classic national topics, you'll love this record. Mike Ford nails creativity and David Francey is as solid with vocals and his songwriting as you expect. A must have addition to any Canuck's musical library.
