Definitely a classic for its time

Although it looked like Southern Hummingbird would be one of those mainstream R&B albums when it came out in 2002, when I bought it I was pleasantly surprised at the maturity of Tweet's lyrics, and the soul that could be heard from every song, favourites are My Place, Smoking Cigarettes and of course the singles Oops and Call Me, definitely a must have for any neo-soul fans.
