Fantastic transition between debut and sophomore

This is amazing. Simply put, punk mixed with bluesy soul that no one can resist. If you like Springsteen, you'll LOVE these guys.

And in every sad, sad country song...

Four years later, and I still can't get over this EP. From the first line of Senor and the Queen, I was hooked. It might just be four songs, but those four songs pull together styles the likes of Joe Strummer, Dylan, The Cure, and of course, Springsteen, in a way that can only be described as the Gaslight Anthem. Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts provides the most idyllic close to an album I've ever heard. Beautiful.

The Gaslight Anthem rose out of the fertile punk scene of New Brunswick, New Jersey, flaunting a unique style that melded the influence of Bruce Springsteen, Wilson Pickett, and various Motown groups with the rough, emotional grit of Hot Water Music and Jawbreaker.
