Well Worth the Wait

Any die hard Used fan has been waiting a solid 2 years for new material and simply put - it was well worth the wait. They have truly outdone themselves with Artwork. It's obvious the song writing has gotten stronger and better. After listening to Artwork through and through it becomes clear that it is truly an amalgamation of all of their previous styles. Staying true to their style, you find a variety of different types of songs. From the harder tracks 'Blood on My Hands' and 'Men Are All the Same' to the classic Used "ballad" style track 'Kissing You Goodbye,' the band fails to disappoint on this album. This is truly one of their best albums to date and most definitely one of the best albums of the year. If you like alternative, rock, punk or what have you, Artwork is a must have for 2009. If you're a Used fan, get the Bonus version. The acoustic B-sides make it a must-have.

If you're on the fence about this one....JUST BUY IT. YOU WON'T REGRET IT! In my opinion, the best album yet by The Used. All the songs are amazing, and you will love every single one! The Used is a completely different type of a good way. BUY IT. :)

But they persevered and earned a contract with Reprise Records, releasing their self-titled debut album in June 2002. Having only played a handful of shows around Orem prior to their record's release, the band -- vocalist Bert McCracken, guitarist Quinn Allman, bassist Jeph Howard,...
