Jimmy Wakely was one of the last big screen movie cowboys drawing on the success of Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. These Christmas recordings were initially released on Wakely's Shasta label in the late '50s. Along with traditional Christmas favorites — like "Winter Wonderland," "Frosty the Snowman," "Joy to the World," and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" — are original compositions "Swingin Jingle Bells" and "That's Santa Claus."
