A very long review....

Stepping aside from his usual and intense roll in the rock band Simple Plan. Sebastien Lefebvre pulls you away from your reality and into his world, where you will get lost in every melody and every whispered word.
The album starts off with a beautiful introduction to the record. Décoller gives you the perfect description of what is to come. A very personal and calm sound.
Comatose can make you smile. The upbeat acoustic music fits perfectly to the lyrics that can easily be described as nothing of importance. The best thing about it is that almost anyone can relate to these lyrics.
La nouvelle Vie is a personal favorite of mine. It has a strong mystery to it. Well, at least to those who don't actually speak the french language. The chorus pulls you right in and you can't help but want to sing along. It's a beautiful song with both french and English. Not a risk many artists want to take. He pulled it off.
Goodnight stands out in this record I find. It's very upbeat and It will have you lalalaing to try to catch a few words that would rhyme so you could sing along. It has a very unique old european sound to it.
I fall for you, the song every girl wishes a guy would write for her. The lyrics are very personal and to the point. Mixed with soft acoustics and soft vocals, I see many falling in love with this song.
Life goes on has a different vibe to it. The sadness and mystery in Sebastien's voice paints a perfect picture of heartbreak.
The one is another one of those personal love songs that every girl wants to have. It's cute. I think that's the best way to describe it. Cute.
The special cover of "Untouched" by the Australian band The Veronicas was a surprise. He flipped it around, changed it up and made it his own. I like this version, it's very unique and fun. Worth listening to, just don't expect an exact copy of the original. Sebastien doesn't do that.
This is not a party record. It's definitely not a Simple Plan record. It's a Sebastien Lefebvre record. Personal, calm, sweet and worth every penny. You just got to be ready for the unexpected. The guitarist from Simple Plan has a lot more to offer then a few back up vocals and strong guitar riffs. Preview each song and judge for yourself.

Just amazing... =)

Seb really impressed me with that mini-album. I fall for you single is pretty good, but definitly not one of the top 3 songs of this album. You REALLY have to buy this whole album to feel the emotions in every single song. They are amazingly set, sang, played, felt... Simple Plan is too commercial to play this kind of songs. Both of them are great to listen too, but it's good that he had the guts to show this part of his personality (different) to every fans and every upcoming new fans... 'cause there'll be tons of them. Two words: BUY IT!
