Cheesy, yes. But brilliant too!

Is there any way that lounge sendups of these classic pop/rock songs could *not* be cheesy? Nope. But that's the point! This isn't parody but rather an exercise in interpretation which also happens to range from amusing to outright hilarious. The arrangements and production are consistently first rate, although it certainly helps to be familiar with the originals to truly appreciate how good these covers are.

this guy isn't terrible but he isn't that funny either i find only 2 songs actually funny to listen to which are die mf die and fight for your right

I love this guy, he chooses awesome songs and makes them MORE awesome, by giving them an old show-tuney flare. I heard "Down with the Sickness" from Dawn of the Dead, and just HAD to check him out. I'm glad I did!
