On and Off, but worth the buy

Okay heres the deal. About half of the songs on this cd are worth the buy, they include: Untrust Us, Crimewave, Magic Spells, Courtship Dating, 1991, Vanished, and Reckless. I really enjoyed these songs...especially crimewave...its aweeesome. But the others, with the uber agressive beat and the kind of screamo-voice thing going on- they were much less enjoyable. Bottomline: With the current Itunes deal on this CD it makes sence to buy the whole album, but don't expect a complete disc.

Electro-Punk from Toronto

I saw this band in London, Ontario and it was a wild show! This duo pumps out intense energy and this album is a good buy Toronto electro indie is pumpin right now!

Crystal Castles is a album not to be underestimated. The first thing you hear is glitching sounds, but they all come together into something melodic, hypnotic, nostalgic and beautiful. It is like a diary, waiting to be written.

Kath got the moniker from the name of She-Ra's dwelling in the He-Man and Masters of the Universe cartoon series; it's also the name of a 1983 Atari video game, which is oddly appropriate, considering that one component of the band's distinctive sound comes from a keyboard modified with an Atari 5200 sound chip....
