A great progression of Guster's music

I wasn't sure what to expect on this album, and I'm glad to say while it does pay tribute to the style of their previous albums, to me it's a different creature all together. The stylings of the music has changed, and there's a great variety within the album. Lyrics, as always, are fantastic. I can see where the videos are a big part of what they put together and give that extra edge to all of their music. A must have for your collection!

Although they evolved into a full-fledged pop band, Guster began their career as a quirky acoustic trio. The band, whose three co-founders met during freshmen year at Tufts University, spent most of the 1990s touring the college circuit and releasing independent albums, all of which featured hand percussion in lieu of a traditional drum set. Released in 1999, Lost and Gone Forever widened the band’s sound considerably, and the follow-up album found percussionist Brian Rosenworcel playing a drum set...
