Album Review

Downstream completes a four-album evolution for Newfoundland's Figgy Duff. The group's first two releases consisted entirely of traditional celtic offerings; 1990's Weather The Storm introduced their first original recordings; now this latest consists entirely of songs written by core members Noel Dinn and Pamela Morgan. It may be an oversimplification - but still a reasonable benchmark - to think of Figgy Duff as a Celtic Cowboy Junkies.
