A treat from beginning to end

You have to give to Naxos: they know how to unearth gems and clean them up. Their Nostalgia label is full of nicely remastered treasures, and this is one of them. This album is loads of fun, with Eartha Kitt at her purring best. After listening to it, you'll probably feel, as I do, that she was vastly underrated. Varied, witty, and sometimes nicely exotic, it really is a treat from beginning to end.
