iTunes Review

Though tastes may tend to favor hot singles these days, there’s still something very appealing about a comprehensive album. Vocalist/cowriter Ciara's third full-length Fantasy Ride fits the bill as an experience to enjoy end to end — with the emotional highs and lows, uptempo club jams, and smooth ballads balanced just so. Ranging in emotion and corresponding style from sassy (the confident and flirty opening track “Ciara to the Stage”) to vulnerable (“Never Ever,” which incorporates the Gamble & Huff classic “If You Don’t Know Me by Now”), Fantasy Ride can serve as the perfect road trip mix. The guest contributions (Justin Timberlake, Ludacris, Missy Elliott) add to the diversity, and the album benefits from having both potential single-type tracks — the high-energy “Turntables” with Chris Brown; the electro-twang of “G Is for Girl (A-Z)” — and deeper cuts such as the menacing “Like a Surgeon” and the unashamedly romantic “When I."

Ciara - Fantasy Ride [Deluxe Edition]

After many leaks, and many setbacks, this album is just HOT. Ciara has definitly taken me on one of the smoothest FANTASY RIDES EVER 1) Ciara To The Stage --> 6.5/10 It's not the best opening for a CD, but it's not a bda one either. You'll get bored of it fast. 2) Love Sex Magic --> 10/10 JT and The Y's has definitly brought up their A game on this track because it's simply one of the best of CiCi's career and probably one of her biggest hits. It's just fun, sexy, and catchy. 3) High Price --> 9/10 This was supposed to be the first single but wasn't chosen because it was leaked. It's a great track, goes back to her original roots of the Goodies and Oh days. 4) Turntables --> 8.5/10 After debating whether to keep the song and feature Chris Brown or not, CiCi has chosen to keep and I see this as a potential single as the song has got a great beat, and an indian vibe. 5) Like A Surgeon --> 5.5/10 In my opinion one of the worst songs on the album, lyrics and metaphors are good, but the beat is not as catchy as most of the songs on this album. 6) Never Ever --> 8.5/10 The first single from Fantasy Ride, flopped commercially, but in my opinion wasn't the best choice for a first single but definitly a catchy song and great lyrics. 7) Lover's Thing --> 10/10 One of the best songs on this album, and a definite potential hit. The song is very catchy and the lyrics are just great. The-Dream also delivers some verses on this track that just adds a great feel to it. 8) Work --> 7.5/10 Great upbeat song, but I don't see it as being as big 1, 2 Step and Lose Control. 9) Pucker Up --> 8/10 DarkChild has done another great job on this track. It definitly fits the new Super C and a great track to jam to. 10) G is for Girl [A-Z] --> 9.5/10 The alphabet never sounded better, CiCi along with the background vocals of Justin deliver a great track. 11) Keep Dancin' On Me --> 8/10 This track is a solid slow jam, the lyrics are good too, but I think it would have better if she kept The-Dream as a feature artist on this track. 12) Tell Me What Your Name Is --> 6.5/10 Good but not a great track. It's not a favourite. 13) I Don't Remember --> 10/10 Definitly Great, one of her finest work. Ne-Yo just amazes me every time, and CiCi delivers some great vocals. 14) Echo --> 9/10 A track full of swagga, CiCi and Jeezy team up again on this track, and they definitly worked some magic. 15) I'm On --> 7/10 A good ending to the album, nice beat and lyrics. Overall CiCi is definitly back in the game .. Beyoncé watch because CiCi is back to reclaim her throne !! Definite downloads: 1) Love Sex Magic (if you don't already have it) 2) High Price 3) Turntables 4) Lover's Thing 5) I Don't Remember

Fantastic

This album is great! It's worth full price. The best songs are probably: Turntables, High Price, Work & Pucker Up. There is not one bad song on the album though.

LOVIN IT!!!

I really love most of the songs on the album!! Unfortunatly, my favourite song is Turntables!! I love that song, but the bad part is it is featuring Chris Brown!! Since the "incident" (the whole thing with Rihanna) i've been staying away from anything that had to do with him (Chris Brown)!! But I just can't anymore! I LOVE THIS SONG!! Fantastic album...enough said...
